Meet Mari

Marileide Almeida-Hockenberry

We were very excited to welcome Mari to our clinic family in June. Mari is short for Marileide. You might be wondering where her name originates from. Mari was born and raised in Brazil. Her first language is Portuguese. She then learned English and later Spanish. 

Mari graduated from the Professional Massage Therapy Program of Nevada School of Massage Therapy in May of 2012. She has since gone on to gain 120 hours of continuing education. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Movement and Structural Bodywork (Rolfing), and Trigger Point Therapy. 

Mari lives in the Grand Valley with her husband. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, reading, and improving peoples' well-being with massage therapy. Mari says that if she had all the money in the world she would spend several times a week just flying in an airplane with no place in particular to go. She just loves to fly!
